@signalthirteen Just becoming yet another cesspool of hate, misogyny, and violence adoration. It is why I immediately deactivated my account when the transfer was official because it is inevitable that this would be the outcome. It is not doing anyone any service to stay on that site any longer - just gives the angry mob victims to torture, and providing accounts for Musk to monetize. It is not resisting, it is just delaying the death of the site by keeping accounts active there.

@KG_in_LV That it takes a little time to sort out how to use the site to it's potential, but that people stand ready to help and readily answer questions. I think once you get your bearings you will find it a great place to hang out.

@NurseNinaPa this may or may not be what is happening to you, but I personally was confused why my notifications were essentially frozen....until I realized I had selected "mentions" and not "all" at the top of my notifications column. Miraculously, pressing "all" revealed everything! LOL!😜

Today is the last day of October. I always schedule my annual mammograms in October. Don't always do it in October, but I get it scheduled.

Called and made my appointment this morning. Pushed it to the last day, but I got it done and kept up my many years long habit self care.

@Seij hashtags let you find posts (or filter them out) that you are interested in. For example,, I have one pinned column that is politics related hashtags because I am interested in that. You will see boosts from your friends in your friends column, even if the item boosted is not a friend's post. Some one else will need to explain the sanitizer. I have yet to use it and don't feel qualified to try and explain it.

@Muzzleofbees i must admit to a few days of real withdrawal symptoms after I deactivated my Twitter account. I did enjoy it, but I know the Twitter I loved is ... no more.

@DrCabralRivera actually, my gut says he is headed for a cliff edge of failure that will be even more devastating to him. A precipitous drop in wealth and perceived power.

@Rhin0 I HAVE done searches on names from Twitter I particularly liked and have found a few that way, but it is hit or miss whether they are using the same name OR have yet jumped in here.
