Interesting to see the number of angry white dudes getting really upset over the number of progressives leaving Twitter now they feel emboldened by the South African emerald thief. They're upset because, once again, they'll be left to be racists at a bunch of other racists.
@signalthirteen Just becoming yet another cesspool of hate, misogyny, and violence adoration. It is why I immediately deactivated my account when the transfer was official because it is inevitable that this would be the outcome. It is not doing anyone any service to stay on that site any longer - just gives the angry mob victims to torture, and providing accounts for Musk to monetize. It is not resisting, it is just delaying the death of the site by keeping accounts active there.
@LauraLyon451 Yup. Swimming in toxic sludge was doing nothing positive and only making sure I was exposed to more toxin. It's not like staying was going to accomplish or support anything laudible.
