@JGNWYRK That is awesome. I picked up the fiddle for the first time as an adult (10 years ago now) and have never regretted it. Have gone on to play in an orchestra for several years, participated in fiddle contests, and regularly jam with folks in Irish sessions and old-time jams. It is work to learn an instrument but the rewards are amazing.

Brian Kemp was caught on a hot mike saying he’s open to banning contraception. Once they start taking away your rights they don’t stop.
CAUGHT ON TAPE: Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) said he is open to banning contraception “depending on where the legislatures are” during the next session.
“You could take up pretty much anything … I think, I’d have to check and see because there are a lot of legalities.”

Voted earlier today, the first day of early voting here in NY. There wasn't a line around the building, as there was in 2020, but it was steadily busy the whole time.
Dropped our ballots off last Tuesday. Verified today that they were received and accepted. Voted Blue down the line. Please vote everyone!

@CelluloidBlonde Valid point. Still didn't feel like it was worth my time to stick around to do that. Wanted the door to slam in his face just as he entered the building (so to speak).

@th3j35t3r I joined just after the initial announcement of the takeover. I remember that the wave of us that piled in at that time was definitely a bit of a crunch for you. I support CoSo via Patreon because I know it isn't cheap to provide this for all of us. Thanks and good work prepping for round two of the exodus.
@SentinelOfTruth It is definitely depressing to have to do that (I did it too), but honestly the Twitter we loved is no more. Time to move on.
@dp3894 I deactivated my account yesterday. I knew it would immediately sink into the wild wild west of violent and racist rhetoric. It truly broke my heart to do that as I had really loved it since January of 2017 when I joined. But, I deserve better than that and won't give Musk any support.
