@Rhin0 Honestly, most of the folks I have followed here since migrating from the bird site, are found just by watching the community firehose and finding people that way that post things I am interested in. I always check bios first and some history to be sure that first impressions are good, but generally that is how I am building up the group I am following.

@NurseNinaPa Talking politics is just fine here. We ARE asked to include a hashtag for #politics so that those that want to see it can, and those that don't, can filter it out. Outside of that if you don't fabricate things or push disinformation, or attack people, or encourage violence etc., there is no restraint on discussing politics.

@NaomiSkarzinski I pinned the hashtag #politics to one of my columns and if people use that in their posts on politics - it makes it quite easy to follow discussions that are political in nature. I do hope some of the more interesting folks from the bird migrate here though, as I miss some particular insights from certain people.
