@Superstitionsee thank you, I thought I was being too ambitious but I'm really pleased with the way it turned out.
@Faustus thank you, I'm really pleased with it
About 6 weeks ago I constructed a 13" x 11" detailed goddess wall plaque from air dry clay and made a mould. Today I cast the first piece in plaster. Apart from 1 air bubble impression which can be fixed it's perfect. It's heavier than I thought so need a sturdy easel to paint her. Onwards and upwards #art #sculpture #pagan #goddess

I will NOT accept the things I can't change; rather, I intend to change the things I cannot accept.
@Alfred omg, you actually just fulfilled my last post 😆 have fun in your spelling police department
@cornered @Alfred Halloween is a Christian aberration of a very ancient tradition. Halloween is designed to deflect people from their spiritual power by making them fear the undead. Its a modern (700ish year old) tradition demonising witches, the ancestors and the veil which the Christian Church allowed because it fulfilled one of their purposes ie turning people away from their own spiritual power.
I ponder much on what the mainstream allows and promotes and why. Halloween is one such 'celebration' which has fear of the unknown and the undead at its heart, filled with people trying to school others that trick or treating is an ancient custom from the country I and my ancestors have inhabited since before medieval records. Samhain has nothing to do with the modern iteration but acts as a deflection, a way to steer people away from the historic and spiritual and powerful time on the wheel.
@thereg001 not sure why it matters whether it's a typo or not
