I've spent every spare hour over the last year creating wall plaques. I've finally overcome the 'not good enough' demon which has plagued me my whole life. Now painting the 40 items I've created ready for my online shop. Never give up, art is work!.

I've been such a busy bee getting stock ready to open my shop in may

Been on a bit of a creative roll, getting ready to mould, cast in plaster, paint then stock up for my virtual shop which I'm planning to open in April.

Finished the latest wall art project in air dry clay waiting now for it to cure.

Finally finished my beech trees at Avebury stone circle wall plaque. Next to make a mold, cast in plaster then paint

Very rough paint job but it's the colour scheme I'm happy with. Now onto refining the paintwork

Playing with colour schemes while watching X Files, actually living my best life

At Avebury stone circle there are beach trees on a small hill with the roots exposed. It's so beautiful it's my next sculpting project. Sacred sites are going to be the main themes of my work from now on.

About 6 weeks ago I constructed a 13" x 11" detailed goddess wall plaque from air dry clay and made a mould. Today I cast the first piece in plaster. Apart from 1 air bubble impression which can be fixed it's perfect. It's heavier than I thought so need a sturdy easel to paint her. Onwards and upwards

Spent a lovely day listening to old radio plays while painting a smaller fertility goddess wall plaque I cast in paster some time ago. Just need to cut in the line edges.

It's been a while since I posted here, rather a lot going on. But I thought I would share some wall plaque sculpting I've been working on. Created in air dry clay awaiting a silicone mold which will cast a plaster replica ready for painting.

A day off my exhausting PAYE job and I'm off to meet a dear friend for lunch. Only another 2 months and I will be in a financial position to only have to work 2 days a week to cover bills. After that I can spend my time connecting with nature and creating art projects from my boat home. I'm living my perfect life.

Really can't keep my eyes open any more. Will have to cover with a damp cloth and finish some time later today

Still at it. It's going to be another 3 hours until I have enough to finish this peace. Fire up the coffee pot!

I was going to cover this with a wet cloth and finish it tomorrow but I just can't help finishing the cherry blossoms. Looks like another few hours until I feel my bed tonight.

First stage of the Japanese peace symbol plaque, the bark effect background leaves a lot to be desired but I think it will become more effective when the cherry blossom border is added and it is cast and painted.
