@janallmac this is the italian/coconut kind for today. Macarons (one O) is the french kind.
But it's close enough as along as you eat some to celebrate. They're all good.

@Kurtroedeger @Fiikus_goddess @janallmac I grew up with canned coconut macaroons for Passover, which I loved, but then as an adult discovered a recipe for Sephardic "macaroons," made with almond flour, sugar, and egg whites--game changer. But I ❤️ French macarons. My son introduced me to gelato-filled macarons when we were in London, and I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Pistachio macarons also sound divine.
