Started to rewatch Book of Boba Fett in honor of today's holiday, but halfway through I remembered it was written by Favreau. He really likes to jam the tropes right down your throat.
@Kurtroedeger I'm huge into all the latest Star Wars media. First thing I watched today was the new Tales Of The Empire. Caught the series finale of Bad Batch this week. I'll even rewatch Solo and truly enjoy it. But Boba Fett was a one-and-done for me.
@Fellixe it feels like he has a list of sci Fi things and Star wars things and each episode is him checking off boxes from the list. The characters just don't have depth. I don't understand how he got the job and keeps the job. It's just very mediocre writing and it survives on the foundation of the world building already done, not on its own merits. There is so much more potential for story there. π€·ββοΈ
