There's a mystery smudge on our ceiling and it shows up shiny with the light reflecting up from the snow outside.

@MidnightRider bathroom is above ther, but it's just on the surface, not a leak coming through, I can clean it off. But nobody 'knows' where it came from 🙄
@Kurtroedeger Well if you are confident it's only a surface stain whose genesis was inside the room on the ceiling paint? There are only a few suspect incidents, I'll assume you ruled out shaken soda.
@Kurtroedeger If nobody knows a thing about it the first thing I'd do is investigate the backside from the attic.
