Coworker: but I just gave it to you
Me: but I need to email it to the client.

Coworker: yeah, I printed it from a PDF.
Me: can you EEEmail me that file then.please?
Coworker ::takes papers, goes to copier, scans them::
Me: ::4 hours later:: file..please?

@Kurtroedeger fascinating "translation" of the request by the coworker. I spent 4 hours troubleshooting a non-existent issue the other day because of a similar 'hear what I want to hear' moment.
