@violentphlegm Sorry for the late reply — Finland.
Strawberries picked from our garden in the #Finnish #Archipelago, on October the 30th.
October is not the season for strawberries in Finland.
Literally the best news... in the world! Clarkson's Farm has been renewed for 3rd season! 🚜

@violentphlegm Yes. 🖐️
@kevinhearne Saw the first episode the other day, and it does show promise!
@TheComicHunter Could be. Anyway, it sucks. Cavill was perfect as Geralt.
One of the most fascinating books I've read is David Chalmers' "Constructing the World", which is based on his 2010 John Locke lectures at Oxford.
In "Constructing the World" Chalmers addresses "many issues in epistemology, the philosophy of language and mind, epistemology, philosophy of science, and metaphilosophy."
I've read the book and listened to the podcasts many times over. Highly recommended to those interested in #philosophy

@SJvD1980 Oh, it would be so cool as a fully immersive experience! Here's hoping! 😎
My profile picture is a #photograph of mine, or rather, it is based on a photograph of mine, made using a so-called "tiny planet" or "little planet" technique in #Photoshop, involving the use of the Polar Coordinates filter.
Here are some of my "Tiny Planet" pictures on #Flickr.
Can a good mobile phone camera be used for serious landscape #photography - yes.

@SJvD1980 Yeah, I hear you -- I'm a casual player and don't really do raids at all. I catch up with them in later expansions, when I can solo them.
Leveling these days doesn't feel like a grind at all, I find. They've made a lot of changes and you can even choose to level up in any expansion you like, with "Chromie Time". It's pretty nifty.
I love the exploration and the lore, though, and the world, to me, is just gorgeous!
@TheObserver No, but I know that it's supposed to be very good! Didn't they close the subscriptions for that at some point, due to a massive influx of new gamers?
I've read that the narrative elements in particular are very good in FF14.
Would be nice to try that, but then again, I'm not sure if I have time for two MMOs. 😎
@samkat I didn't like it. Looks gorgeous, but the writing and acting are bad, and it has little to do with Tolkien's lore. Just takes too many liberties for my taste.
You mentioned Andor in your other message -- I've kind of enjoyed that, after the uneven Book of Boba Fett, and atrocious Obi-Wan Kenobi. It's rather bleak, though.
Now, The Mandalorian -- that I enjoyed a lot! Smaller stories in the SW universe, and not so terribly bleak and dark like so many other shows these days.
@kel You bet! Of course, I expected a big performance boost, but holy carp this thing's fast. And it's not even a high-end gaming rig. I'm well pleased with it, everything's running at max settings, and smooth as butter. 😎
Nerd as I am, I've been looking forward to the new World of Warcraft expansion Dragonflight.
Decided that perhaps this would be the right time to upgrade my venerable ~10 yo gaming PC (I use Macs for everything else), so I bought a Lenovo Legion T5 R7, 16GB, NVIDIA 3060 Ti LHR 8GB GDDR6.
Holy carp! What a difference! 😮
@Ever It would be nice to see this place thrive!
Rather unsurprisingly, CounterSocial has experienced a considerable influx of new Cosonauts today, and there has been a hiccup or two to the service.
I've subscribed to Pro, to pitch in a little bit, but I'm going to make a small extra donation to help keep things going.
I'm sure that the cost of maintaining CoSo isn't exactly peanuts, and this is a rather unique place with great potential. So -- #donatetoCoSo
Thank dog it's Friday! Will be heading to the #Finnish #Archipelago within the hour, for a relaxing weekend.
Have a great weekend, CoSonauts!
