@LlamaMountainStudioArts thank you for proving my point!
😘
I actually have one of those in my home.
It's the electorial votes that decides the election. Not always the popular vote.
Electorial votes are equal to the number of senators & representatives in the US congressional delegation plus a number of votes equal to the number of its congressional districts.
This makes the election a process based on the number of electorials deciding who is to get into office.
It's time to grow a set & be adults rather than preschoolers squabbling over juiceboxes.
This election was lost by the democrats because of their nasty mean spirited behavior.
It continues even now.
We are not stupid, we do not need things mansplained.
Nor do we need to continue to have any more hate being vomited into discussions. Stop riding roughshod over people who don't feel as you do.
It's just proving the other person's point.
No one likes a bully, or troll.

Things which are important are a matter of perspective.
Was scheduled for a liver biopsy. Well, multiple biopsies done at the same time on my liver. Means an overnight stay.
Did I mention my change in health plan means I start back at 0$ for my out of pocket max that I only had 600$ to go and now it's 8,000$
& on Jan 1st it resets again.
@arthurpendragon
What is the series BTW if you don't mind me asking?
@arthurpendragon
Had one of those classes in highschool- things like "going down six stone steps" alluded to death & the depth of a grave.
Grimes fairy tales & works of Hans Christian Anderson might be helpful.
Minot North Dakota has a Scandinavian center which might have resources.
Not sure if the link posted to you. Several articles are out, just Google peanuts the squirrel. Apparently he bit one of the investigators.
At this time, there is only one way to determine if an animal has rabies if they havent' had the vaccine & that's to do a necropsy of the animals brain.

Happy Birthday!
Some libraries are set up that you can borrow the books on line using a free downloaded Kindle on your cell, tablet or laptop. You just need a library card.
Amazon also has E-books.
Another option is visit your local university and see if the history text books may have what you need.
Do you know what culture you want to study?
@Jennyfoo2u
It gets better.
It's OK not to want to people today.
Or even adult.
Sometimes it's nessasary to build a blanket fort & sip hot cocoa watching the fall leaves come down.
Food shopping requires just nodding when the cashier says thank you.
Everything else can be ordered on line.
For introverts,
No words are needed. Just knowing someone else cares is ok.
It's going to be ok friend.
The issue you might be facing is much of what you are seeking has been passed down in oral history & may be closely guarded, or lost from those who had the knowledge being persecuted.
The oak was a symbol for the Norse, celtic,Hebrew & druids.
Crows are found in Chinese, Scandinavian and native American lore.
Mists lore are often greek in origin.
@ordenauta
Kids today have no idea what a really full sized candy bar is.
We avoided housing plans because even though there were 30 houses on one street, they would give out a single stick of gum from the pack. It was just more walking for a handful of candy.
A few times we convinced our parents to go trick or treating in another's area's night ( they split them to handle the crowds.
Ours were still the best .
@ordenauta
Our neighbor always gave us massive red delicious apples for trick or treating.
We'd give them to our mom who made apple pie with them.
Our new shoes box became our candy bar box and it would last until Thanksgiving.
9 houses. That's all we had. 3/4 the of a pillow case when we were done.
Good times.
Trick or treating when I was young meant 9 houses to go to, a pillow case and what ever we found to dress up as. Coffee grounds made us hobos with Da's old coat.
9 houses = 3/4 of the pillow case filled with full sized candy bars, homemade gingerbread men, red delicious apples and occasionally an oj box from McDonald's. There were maybe 20 kids total who came to the door.
We always were safe, and known to all the neighbors.
