Just saw a guy in a work truck driving around the neighborhood with his toddler sitting on his lap.
The kid waved, I returned the wave. The dad laughed.
This is bad in so many ways.
Car seat
Facing rear until they are ht & wt.
Front faced car seat until they are ht & wt.
Booster seat until they are 4 foot 9.
Every time
No exceptions.
Sure.
It may seem ok one time.
Next time the kid won't want to get in the car seat.
What then?
Car seats are less expensive than a kids funeral.
@mcfate
My information is from bee keepers who manage them for their farms - both locally, & the states where I've lived.
Bees depend on biodiversity for their survival - including wild flowers & weeds.
Gmo plants which contain weed resistant tendency offer only a brief window of food source for honeybees while they pollinate the crops.
Gmo plants are designed for larger fruit size to be produced (quality) but not always quantity.
Equals starvation of the hive.
@Senua
I'm streaming reruns of Gilligan's island.
Does that help?
If I need to feed the inner angst then it's family affair with Brian Keith.
Life is too short to fret about things you can't change.
This is a reminder to concern yourself with important things that really matter.
This is a honey bee on an early dandelion. The yellow on her knees is pollen and she's collecting necter from the dandelion.
How is this important?
It's early spring.
The dandelion wasn't from a treated lawn or a gmo plant.
The bee didn't have to worry about bug spray.
The bee and her sisters survived through the winter.
Gmo plants reduce bees lifespan by 2 days & the food for the hives.
Be kind.

I read stuff but it doesn't always stick until I do it a billion times.
@sentientdessert
I'm so into cheesecake!

My siblings and I tell the great nieces & nephews that we were raised before tv was around. Our toys were rocks and sticks and we were happy to have them.
Of course- they didn't believe us until my niece& nephew recounted collecting different clay stones, wild berries & flowers teaching them how to create "cave paintings" on the front driveway pad.
Oh was mum upset...
The stain lasted for months...
@stueytheround
Nite!
My plot bunnies are trying to do the same as well.
Maybe after we find where we left the chocolate...
@TwistedWhim
Yes!
I have a blog.
And coming soon a website.
I just have to figure out how to link stuff to the profile now.
@XaoslordErie
I just figured out how to upload my header & avatar!
I feel so accomplished!
Thank you all for the warm welcome! I tried to answer yellow of you, I apologize if I've missed anyone.
Thank you Edge for letting me know about this forum!
This was my second watercolor that I did last year. I tried to duplicate the swallowtail image but apparently yellow is really hard yo work with. So I used another butterfly coloration to make it sort of a monarch swallowtail.
The butterfly is meh.
But what I got really excited about are the flowers. Still don't know how I did them.
@stueytheround @CherNohio
Thank you.
Now that I found the app getting in here will be easier.
Thank you!
@ShaneArtBooks
Thank you for the welcome
Sweet!
Mysteries are awesome
@CherNohio
Thank you.
It may take me a bit to work all of this out.
@arthurpendragon
Thank you!
Thank you!
@sentientdessert
I do too!
Apparently you can tell the type of swallowtail by the wing position and the stripes.
We have the black swallowtail too, though not as many as the yellow ones.
Thank you!
@XaoslordErie
Thank you.
Still working my way around.
