Gnarly story -- when I was 17 yo, was camping w/bf (didn't know I was LGBT then), ran out of propane in middle of cooking burgers. BF went in search of more propane & I decided to chop wood for fire.

First swing got my big toe - fractured bone. BF returned w/propane and we diverted to ER.

(xrays, tetanus shot, 2-3 stitches; excrutiating pain and swelling overnight in tent). Don't remember if we finally had burgers LOL #KLUTZ

@singlemaltgirl That happens to me, too. Sounds like it's ok if it resolves on its own. Mention to DDS at your next appt -- or if you have been seeing same one for long term, phone office & ask for advice. Skin does thin after menopause; I am always wounding myself and now it shows visibly -- bruises, arms, legs... ugh 💜

@singlemaltgirl Oh believe me, I was! And -- I had already relocated and was not in FL anymore. Had to impose on Realtor to be present to have the job redone. I do tend to be like a bulldog with stuff like that tho 🤣 👊🏻

Co was part of a home energy audit offered by local elec company. Might've jeopardized those referrals.

Owner was very attentive and apologetic, thank goodness. Still...

@yogapaddlerun -- reminds me of an experience I had a couple of years ago. Bought a home, had insulation added, specifically to a west-facing "Florida" room (very toasty in summer).

Due to unfortunate circumstances, house was put on market less than 6 mos later. New home inspector found NO INSULATION over FL room. I phoned owner & they immediately addressed job and worker. I had used company previously, they wanted good referral. SMH

@yogapaddlerun Call them -- can you be home to watch them re-wand? I mean, they usually rely on word of mouth for referrals...worth a try, but you would undoubtedly do a better job.

@yogapaddlerun Perhaps you can phone them to return and check your property. They usually have a magnetic thingamajig that they use to pick up those. Shame!
