My dogs wear boots because we have sub-zero temperatures. They refuse to walk or do their business, so we stand still outside, shaking. I lean into the wind, daring it to take me away.

Good morning, #cosonauts. So begins what will likely be the coldest day of the season and definitely the coldest of 2022. The snow has stopped. I don't know exactly how cold it is because my weather app is not loading data. I have power, heat, and a well-stocked pantry. My wife stayed at my daughter's apartment last night because we agreed that was safer than her driving home. Heading out to work in a little while. All is fine. #COwx

The owner in this shop allows stray dogs to come in when it is dark so they're safe. He gives them food and water and makes each a comfortable bed.
