Republicans are about lowering wages and cutting jobs.
People need to understand this: stocks go UP when companies lay people off. It makes rich people RICHER.
There is no logical or economic reason for companies to increase wages. A business wants LOWER wages at the bottom.
That means The Valley is NOT going to see wages increase.
“It’s the economy, stupid.” Is correct—but Trump didn’t make the economy better.
Under Trump we LOST 2.7 million jobs.

First Take:
1, 2, 3 and 4: We should have never attacked and taken down Biden. It was a HUGE mistake on our part.
1. America is a sexist country.
2. America is a racist country.
3. Christian nationalists and many everyday Christians would have had more trouble attacking a Catholic.
4. Biden is a sly old dog. We should have rallied, covered for him. Whatever we needed to do.
5. The economy isn't the top (non billionaire) earners, the stock market, the interest rate. It's food, roof, and cars.
@TrueBloodNet No one is acting like illegal immigration is "fine". It's not a lax attitude so much an attempt to humanely manage an ongoing logistical nightmare.
The judicial process that determines who is legal is backlogged for years. The average border crosser gets a court date 6-8 months after being arraigned, and even then the immigration hearing lasts 15 minutes and is done in batches.
We either fund and staff those courts better or end up depriving people of their due process rights.
I'm still trying to get my head around the fact that the electoral count happened so quickly when it usually takes days (especially with tons of mail-in votes) and that #FelonDon didn't come out early to claim victory last night. Not to mention the multitude of foreign bomb-threats that only happened in Dem strongholds.
With that said, this is puzzling me even more:

I think the hardest part for me is the shattering of my understanding of where we are as a country.
I genuinely thought we were better than this; that most people are good and try to do good, that we would band together to do better, that we would not give in to our baser instincts.
That all smacks of hubris and naivety now, and I'm not sure I like what that means in terms of how I exist in the world.
@CanisVeritum
💯
I’m not ever going to beat up a Democrat over this.
In a sane & civilized world, this would have been the easiest victory for the first black woman president.
Voters voluntarily chose the shit sandwich with broken glass in it.
How the fuck do you campaign against that?
Never Trump
