@JerichoTaskerDeaux - it’s always the “rest of the world’s fault” for Ukraine not allowing itself to be overrun by the ill-equipped, poorly-trained Russian murderers & rapists. 🙄
@Alfred how many times must the cannonballs fly before they are forever band?
When’s the time of year where bosses start paying more to keep the experienced workers the have so they don’t have to train new workers when we leave?
After 30 years of industry experience and 3+ years of no-raises due to “covid” (cheapskates) I’m ready to go for a long walk.
@VenomousHeroine
Wonder if they considered “free 4 years of college” with 4 years of “voluntary service” in either the armed forces, community service, or other public institutions?
We have an all volunteer military; so we get the best & brightest. But for people who don’t want to carry a weapon there are other ways to “pay it forward”.
It’s probably to “utopian” for the radical right to understand tho; so why improve anything ever… 😉
We (family of 3) rarely shop at Costco but the savings in the price of gas compared to Chevron, BP or Exon was more than enough to cover the membership fee.
@robfwtx - weeping angels are the pinnacle of creepy after watching Dr Who. Evil clowns just seem silly in comparison. 😜
@The_USA_Singers I vaguely remember the Carter years, as an elementary schooler, I wasn’t politically active but I remember how much my parents hated Jimmy. It speaks volumes to understand 40 some years later how much they love Trump. Makes me sick. They wonder why I stopped talking to them & why my wife & my daughter have blocked them completely out of their lives.
Jimmy is exactly the role model American men should strive to emulate.
@peterquirk - never really liked those dogs but it is a sad end to art, none the less. At least it was an accident & not intentional.
I remember when Carter was president and when he was defeated by Reagan. I was in the Army and knew the behind-the-scenes of how Reagan got the Iranians to delay releasing the hostages until after the election so Carter wouldn't get the credit he deserved.
People derided Carter, said he was a terrible president.
But with both his presidency and his life after, he has shown himself to be a truly decent human being and an example of the best of humanity.
@Misleaderc Ha Ha -- Could've been a "shorts chase" instead.
@KittsMotto Best guess ... $$$
