I don’t care about getting promoted. I’ve done my development and knowledge sharing. My goal is to stay employed until I can afford to retire. Just like last year.

When’s the time of year where bosses start paying more to keep the experienced workers the have so they don’t have to train new workers when we leave?
After 30 years of industry experience and 3+ years of no-raises due to “covid” (cheapskates) I’m ready to go for a long walk.
