If you want to know how we got to Trump, it started with Reagan.

Reagan was a horrible President: he has two recessions in his FIRST term. People excuse it by saying “he wasn’t in charge of oil and gas”, true, but like Trump, he did NOTHING to mitigate it.

People lost jobs. Businesses got tax cuts. Republicans play up how wonderful it was but it was hardly wonderful unless you were rich (sound familiar?).

Reagan’s tax cuts were not made up through “increased revenue”…

I watched the debate again on CNN as it was rebroadcast. POTUS is barely audible & obviously he is under the weather. But POTUS presented facts & figures w/o wavering & recalled events out fr. his head. He was en pointe in answering questions. What he did was quite difficult even for anyone younger. Trump lied in every turn & in several instances was not responding to questions but talked more about how great he was. POTUS won the debate &Trump lost because his responses were 99% lies.
