Just seeing me happy while I walk round not giving a crap what my birth parents are doing is more than enough for me at my point in healing, mostly because I know it drives them batty.

Both parents have their share of enablers. It's like one giant cult minus the fancy name.

I escaped the cult. It was not easy but I did it.

@baystaterinnc @willmckinley I love that show! I was so mad when they took off the reruns and replaced it with Reading Rainbow. I was 8 I think and did not realise they stopped making it in the late 70s.

@Christmas_Snow I would not wish narc abuse on my worst enemy. I write fictional stories where pretend narcs get their comeuppance. It helps me cope.
