I don’t drink much water. A lot of coffee but nowhere near enough water. I don’t like the taste, or lack of taste, of it. So I’m chronically dehydrated.
Are there things you can add to water to make it more palatable? Nothing sugary. I’m not sure if lemonade counts as water but I like that. Fruit juices?
Filtered water tastes better than tap water. Buy a filter for your sink. A squirt of lemon or orange even cucumber water is good.
Since switching from exclusively coffee to mostly green tea, I find I am much better hydrated, even without drinking much *naked* water :)

@Jeber Palates differ. I have the same pattern of behavior and what finally worked for me was 1) kidney stones and 2) advice to treat water like medicine and set alarms. I may also add lemon juice and a pinch of salt (or ORS) but that doesn't improve the taste.
Oh and don't get kidney stones holy hell
@Jeber Crystal Light makes flavored packets with no sugar. Also, Liquid I.V. makes sugarless packets. My son takes the Liquid I.V. in packets to add to his water bottle at work. I add lemon slice to my water. Also some folks like to make infusion water where you let it steep in fruit. Here is a link of one such thing. https://www.myownwater.com/blog/fruit-infused-water-recipes

@Jeber juices are too sweet for me. i mix 4 oz cranberry juice in a with 12 oz of water.
two of those a day after my 30 oz mug of coffee.
@Jeber
A splash of any kind of fruit juice goes a long way. Plus I was once in a restaurant where your glass of water came with a slice of cucumber rather than a slice of lemon. It was really good.
Roses Lime juice. Or try tea. You could also use something like Drip Drop when you are feeling dehydrated.
@Jeber Herbal tea! You can drink it hot or cold. Check out Bigelow's cold infusion herbal tea. Just fill up a large glass of water, stick the tea bag in it, put it in the fridge & forget about it. When you're ready to drink it, you can sweeten it (or not) to your own taste.
@Jeber Other that fruit juice, flavor extracts, artificial flavors, carbonation, nitrogenation, salt, citric acid, and tea, I can't think of anything off the top of my head.
I suspect that a lot of people who "don't like water" have got there because we've been made used to drinking liquids loaded with sugar and salt. Reduce your sugar and salt overall for a while, and suddenly water gets good again.
@Jeber there is something called true lemon which has no sweeteners. It also comes in lime, orange and grapefruit
@Jeber Do you think you might like a pitcher with an infuser?

@Jeber I live on powdered Gatorade. With powder, you can adjust for taste. I get a large canister from Amazon. Lasts me 1-2 months. Half scoop per glass.
@Jeber
Lemon or lime juice, maybe?
