You know what would solve all this border/refugee/immigration frustration? World citizenship. Each of us is resident of planet Earth. Like an international driver’s license. Human rights standardized. Passports unnecessary.
Idealistic? Sure. Practical? Considering the current level of human evolution, absolutely not.

I remember reading a couple years back that the border situation is not a humanitarian crisis but a paperwork/bureaucratic logam being portrayed as the other by a certain group of people. If the people coming across could be dealt with in a fair and timely fashion...
