Monday was the hottest day on record, globally..
It beat the other hottest global day, which was Sunday.
Which caps off the hottest 13 months..
DANG, people.. when we gonna do something about this other than complain in air-conditioned suv's??

We're not, and it's pretty much too late.
December 12, 2000 the self-stylized "supreme" court appointed a climate denier as preznit, instead of the guy who literally wrote a book on global warming.
To quote Porky Pig: "Th, th, th, that's all Folks!"

un, no..
it is not over!
it is NEVER over!!!
Not when there is a chance to actually band together with our power to truly change it. We can, and we MUST.. use our power to actually correct this path of destruction.. and after 50 years, I have no intention of quitting.
even if we can’t undo and reverse everything, we can still stop it from getting way worse. but that window is closing too. might be permanently closed next year per climate scientist Michael Mann, who’s not even been a doomer.
@JazzCrafter I vote we put giant mirrors either at the Earth-Sun Lagrange point or in orbit, and use them to deflect sunlight away from the Earth - thereby reducing atmospheric and surface temperatures.
Alternatively, we could put (preferably parabolic/pseudo-parabolic with adjustable curvature, to allow for fine control over focal length / spot size) space mirrors in different orbits or at different Lagrange points, then use them to slag oil companies' assets like ants under the glass?
@JazzCrafter I keep asking that. I don’t understand the “business as usual” mentality that ignores this reality which creates so much suffering. do we have to wait until *everyone* is suffering sufficiently and simultaneously to wake up from this collective brainfog of inaction?
