Noticed a couple of things while scrolling conversations.

I'm sure they'll correct me if I'm wrong, but the folk behind accounts like @MovieNights and @CoSoTips are volunteering their time, energy and expertise to run those accounts.

No one is paid to do that.

If you're posting comments like 'why aren't you going to do XYZ?', perhaps take a moment and remind yourself that they're regular users like you doing everyone in the community a good turn.

Perhaps ask what you can do to help instead.

I hope everyone remembers in two years how utterly, shamefully wrong the media and punditry was about what would happen during this election. Polls are bullshit and the media narrative of change and chaos is a sales job that benefits only them. Don't buy it going forward.

Notes about trolls. They may not post on the firehose. They may post as a reply to your post. Others might not see it. Please use the block and report feature if you are being harassed or trolled.

^Also, we have some long time trolls who are familiar with this community, and will pre block certain long time users who are good at spotting trolls. Sometimes we can't see what you see. FYI

Seems to me that Eli Lilly, while apparently being unable to make insulin affordable, does have grounds to sue the birdsite for one hell of a lot of money.

Maybe they can make insulin affordable with the money they take from Elon.
