@kel i'm a high functioning sociopath. I'm wondering if my friends will go apesh!t if I tell them to warn them so they can make an educated decision on whether or not they still want to associate with me because there are slight risks that come with being my friend even though I don't hurt people maliciously

@kel and just for clarification, sociopaths are much different than psycopaths. we can still feel emotion, remorse, guilt, and empathy, and we do have a moral compass, but just less strong. I am trying to be a better person and this is something that I think would be a step in the right direction

Speaking from my own recent experience, I am suddenly less inclined to overshare. We'd like to think that "our people" should be able to handle our deeper truths, but I've seen a fair few of mine flee lately and it absolutely sucks.

Probably depends on the audience, and you've got a better bead on that than any of us here.
