Let me be clear here. It is perfectly okay not to understand things. There are plenty of things I don't understand. Not understanding things is okay.
What is not okay, however, is proudly declaring that you don't understand something, that you have no intention of understanding it, and that you not understanding it allegedly makes you smarter than other people.
That, my good friend, is not okay. That is anti-intellectualism.
Tell me you don't understand the Bible without saying you don't understand the Bible. π
I can't help but feel that the only people who have positive feelings about the public school system are neurotypical. Of course they would. The system was designed for them.
If you're neurodivergent, on the other hand...well, let's just say it's hard to have good opinions about a system that was never designed for you and was set up to fail you.
TIL that communism is when people who commit crimes are punished for their crimes...or, at least, that's what the MAGA crowd seems to think communism is.
People who see only the best in others have had the privilege of seeing the best of humanity.

What other explanation is there than the internet is transmitting messages from across the multiverse?

This might be slightly controversial, but I would much rather conservatives flood bookshelves with right-wing propaganda for children than try to pull "woke" books off of those shelves in schools and libraries.
Censorship is bad. Free speech is good.
Considering how many left-leaning activists, especially POC and queer people, are starting to arm themselves for their own protection, we might actually see right-wingers advocating for stricter gun restrictions. π
@MookyTroubadour Those things are bad, but they pale in comparison to what's going on right now.
@BlueRevolution Okay, maybe I'm wrong and I'm just sheltered...and young. Evidently, much younger than you.
@BlueRevolution Okay, but I'd imagine that, even back during the height of Jim Crow and public lynching, there would be political pundits audacious enough to just come out and say, "we need to eradicate black people."
Hey, remember when conservatism was about cutting taxes and government spending and not about advocating genocide against trans people?
