I will be buying a new rig soon. My debate is desktop or laptop. Prices are very similar so are specs. Any suggestions?
@kel @Itsjustme Desktops are also much easier to repair/upgrade.
@Render True, to a point. It seems that some of the new hardware is requiring cascade upgrades just to handle the power requirements. @Itsjustme
@Itsjustme Depends on what you'll use it for, tbh. Overall, cooling is much better on most desktop PCs, so they're better for gaming and high-end production. Anything else, and I think the mobility factor puts laptops on top, especially when you can dock them and use them just like a desktop.
