Before we go blowing over 10,000 users organically in less than 3 weeks I want to give a shout out to @th3j35t3r for daring to dream and then take action and follow through yet again.
I've seen him do many wonderful things over the years, and probably many more we won't ever hear about, but this ranks right up there amongst the best.

What portion of our annual "health insurance" payments are redirected toward actively campaign/lobbying AGAINST alternatives to for-profit health insurance, & thus inherently forcing us to pay for expensive, bottomless expenditures that have nothing to do with health care & are inherently mobilized against our own interests—& why are we tolerating that interminable, annual "increase in health costs" when it is, after all, a measurable quantity that should simply be deducted from their profits?

@Render It’s quite infuriating to me that the debate is so consistently driven into themes of gun control.
The US has a violence problem. Guns are a tool for violence, but neither the beginning or the end of it.
The gun control politics are an obvious effort to turn our social NEED to understand our violence into a political debate that cannot be resolved, allowing our actual problem to be ignored, letting fascists further their agenda fueled by that violence.
I am so very tired. 2023 has just kept going where 2022 stopped. I hate my job. I hate being ‘old’ at 56. I spent months getting my Google Analytics Certificate only to find that I can’t compete with 20 year olds. I have got to get out of my consumer facing job that is literally killing me.
If anyone knows of a company hiring a jr data analyst please hit me up.

I’ve spent the past two months at night and on my weekends working towards this certification so I can get the hell out of my current job in executive escalations. I just can not deal with the public anymore and this was supposed to be my way out. So sad and depressing
SQL was easyish and clicked after messing with it for a while. Learning R has been the total opposite. No matter how I’ve tried nothing is clicking and I’m so annoyed with myself. I’m not dumb but not the brightest bulb either. Maybe I’m just too old and should give up.
I’ve had a moment. I’ve been working towards my google data analytics certification and I’ve hit a wall. I’m thinking I’m really too old to be trying new stuff. Trying to learn R is just breaking my brain. 😐
