Some of these folks would get sterilizations anyway, but some wouldn't if having a child young or unexpectedly didn't doom you both for life.

As early as 2005, in law school, I was arguing that protecting reproductive freedom also had to include protecting the right to get permanent sterilization procedures, as they'd become popular and necessary if Roe fell. I got handwaved by professors and fellow students.
