Pet Peeve Complaint Alert!

"No worries" as a reply.

To which I usually think or reply back to the person writing and/or saying such -- "As an inveterate worrier I'll worry about whatever the fuck I want to, thank you very much."

🙄 🤬 😎

@InUnfunky "it's all good". We'll circle back on this going forward".

@CanisPundit

“It’s all goooood” I’ll deploy as sarcasm, so yes. 😏 The “circle back” metaphor might be more in vogue with the professional class? You’d get your ass kicked in the kitchen if you said some shit like that. 😆

@InUnfunky

oh! i always took it to mean that the person who says "no worries" means that it didn't worry them, or cause them strife. like, oh, no harm done. i never interpreted it to mean that I was not allowed to worry. that's something for me to think about.

@chromogirl

I not claiming that there’s ill intent when the person saying it says it, so you’re in the clear.
😎👍😉

For me it’s a personal reaction, akin to “relax” or “calm down.” More of a challenge, benign-ish or no. I WILL find something to worry about. 🤷🏻‍♂️😏
