I saw a headline lede on a story today that said "Trust in photos is disappearing and tech is to blame".
Um, no. The tech is not the problem. The problem is the abuse of the tech by the duplicitous, venal and grasping.

@Bix Ukraine was too restrained early on regarding any incursions into Russia. After Russian missiles were targeted at civilian schools, apartment buildings, and civil spaces like museums it was time to stop worrying about international perceptions if they targeted Russian industry that supports the Russian war effort.

What's needed is a renaissance. A period where we raise our standards, not flags. COSO represents that idea in a way that promotes smarts, authenticity, and the dearth of bitchiness. We can do this folks, otherwise evolution was for naught. We are the universe, capable of great feats. Stupidity and greed must not define our future...someones future....anyones future.

The ingredients are all there.
