Shooting from the hip cuz I only read the NYT/WaPo updates but was struck by the sophist questions from the MAGA justices...combined with the patina of "traditional concepts of presidential candidate quality vis a vis ethics, norms, values, morals, intelligence level, etc." In other words...Trump needs/needed no security clearance. They are very different in their orientation. Trump’s lawyer was singular in his presentation whereas Dreeben is an institutionalist who was speaking in terms SCOTUS prefers big picture, theoretical application or consequences keeping the presentation less Trump focused, but law. He should have appealed to the so called originalist conservative members context for the Constitution.
