I've had alligator tail. Yeah, rattlesnake is really good. Chicken feet are too much work for the tiny amount of meat on 'em.
I'm fine with chicken feet if someone else is deboning them. (A couple of asian places make a great chicken foot salad.)

"You could at least take the bones out!"
"Well, they wouldn't be CRUNCHY then, WOULD they?"
โ Monty Python's Flying Circus, "Crunchy Frogs"
@tyghebright @Maude @InUnfunky
Some things they missed on that list that I've had:
โ Deep-fried chicken cartilage
โ Raw, purรฉed quail
โ Basashi (horse-meat carpaccio, basically)
โ Natto
โ "Dancing shrimp"
I've eaten horse and kangaroo. Want to try natto, but it's hard to come by in Dallas.
@tyghebright @Maude @InUnfunky
Asian markets carry frozen natto sometimes.
All my Japanese friends bullied me into trying natto because I was a smoker.
In Central FL -- as you got closer to Gainesville -- it was not uncommon to see gator tail on a menu. Rattlesnake (fried "popcorn"-style) you could find at any redneck backyard BBQ. ๐
It might be easier to say that I HAVE NOT EATEN brains ("Braaiiinnnssss!"), a century egg, razor clams, or haggis...cuz I've never been to Scotland. I didn't think you could import haggis to the U.S. -- but this store near me (NoHo, MA) has it in a can?
@InUnfunky
I tasted Haggis while in Scotland.
On my list... just not really fond of it. ๐
"If it's not Scottish -- it's CRRAPP!"
I wouldn't eat it now cuz I no longer eat our mammalian relatives.
I've had frozen durian pops but never fresh durian; Tran's International (Hadley, MA) sells out as quickly as the get the fruit in-store.
Also not available for import is this cheese. Never say never, I guess...๐
Picky eater, huh?
We know you like buffalo chicken sandwiches (with hot sauce) at Cheesecake Factory so thatโs good. ๐๐
Yes, and now I want cheesecake. Thanks a lot, Trey. ๐คจ
I just know what I like. Sometimes the texture of foods will make me ๐คฎ I try to stick to what I know so a fun time isn't ruined...lol.
@JoyfullyDazed @Maude
Well...
You are the person who likes Cheesecake Factory.
So...
I'm just trying to give you what you like. ๐
Will NOT post sardines pics again. Or hummus, etc. Even with hot sauce.
So how is that cheating?
Christ, they are just OUT OF CONTROL with this shit.

Nah, you can post your weird foods, just expect a throw up emot when you do. ๐
I'm considering having that menu framed. ๐
Blame Maude, she posted that meme!
Right now I'm still kinda staring at it, going "WTF." All the branding and TMs, all the unnecessary shit. That said, the Key lime and banana cream ones are making my stomach grumble.
Plus trying to remember the last time I was at a CF...probs the Pru, circa '13? ๐ค
Well, it's a chain and they certainly have the money for a fancy menu.
I almost had the banana cream last time I was there.
Dammit, Trey. Now I REALLY want cheesecake. It's a good thing CF is a bit of a drive that I'm too lazy to take. Wish they delivered. ๐
Aren't they closed?
A 24hr CF would be a disaster for anyone in Boston, Natick, Peabody, Chestnut Hill...๐
I'm talking about tomorrow. I'll wake up (if I ever go to bed) wanting banana cheesecake.
Could be worse.
(For you. ๐)
Like those fancy sardines (and they were, believe me) with ghost pepper sauce I ate for snack yesterday...you won't wake up dreaming of those, pretty sure...
@JoyfullyDazed ๐ @InUnfunky
Okay, soโฆ
Was blue cheese the only thing on the meme-y list that Lisa said she HAD tried? ๐ค Yesterday already seems so long agoโฆ๐
@InUnfunky ๐ ๐๐ผ
for the record... I've had fried crocodile tail (not on this list), and it's great.
Also love fried rattlesnake. ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ
