Easy twofer -- and they both came out the summer of '82: Ridley Scott's "Blade Runner" and John Carpenter's remake of "The Thing."
"Office Space" is a good choice, too. Judge also did "Idiocracy" which died (and also has cult status) cuz bigwigs at Fox yanked support for it. I wonder why...? 🤔 🤓
Adore both of these. Definitely in my top movies of all time.
