Pollyanna Award goes to Drumpf campaign spokesman Steven Cheung: “Sure there’s some legal stuff, but for the majority of the day we did some very positive things.”
"Some legal stuff" is a great way to describe getting arraigned on 37 counts, any one of which could land you in prison for 20 years.
"The chandelier hanging in Trump’s toilet was his dynasty in a microcosm: something opulent and gaudy, a caricature of wealth that screamed for our attention, while hoping we would not notice any potentially dirty deeds happening below."
-- Geraldine DeRuiter in the Washington Post,
"We need to talk about Trump’s bathroom chandelier"
The reasons we canceled Netflix are:
1. We'd seen everything we wanted to see. Finding a watchable series was getting to be too much work.
2. The crappy way Netflix treats writers.
3. Charging for password sharing was understandable. But it prompted us to look hard at Netflix just when Netflix was having a bad hair day and yelling at a barista.
Creative day! Wrote a song, "I want to see Cheetolini do the perp walk," and devised a new cocktail, called either Perp Walk or
Cheetolini:
2 oz gold tequila
1/4 oz orange liqueur (OK to use the cheap stuff)
Dash Angostura bitters
Dash hot sauce (Cholula or Tabasco)
Pinch salt
Orange peel
Shake first five ingredients for 45 seconds. Strain into a short glass, garnish with orange peel. Serve with Cheetos.
I'm still struggling. Trying to find sedentary work, and trying for disability. I've left no stone overturned at this point. Yet they are trying to kick me off of my insurance now too.
I'm really needing to make rent, its at $310 thanks to late fees at this point. I really don't want to end up evicted and having to give up my cat. I have no clue where I would go.
Please if you can help, even if it's only to boost this. Thank you!
Happy Trans Day of Visibility! I'm proud of my queer/trans/nonbinary family and friends, and glad to have a president who's not scapegoating them.
I can’t turn away or wash the image of the little girl on the school bus out of my mind, and don’t think I would want to if I could. She will never be able to.

ChatGPT tried to tell this Register reporter that he was DEAD, and even claimed to have a link to his obituary.

Modern Rail prefer long trains, for profit. These long trains, will NOT fit in most switching yards. They will not fit on sidings, to let other trains pass. So they take them out to long stretches of seldom use track and park them there.
This is cargo is mostly stuff that has no "delivery" date, stuff like chemicals that are contracted far into the future. And it is cheaper for Big Oil, to store them in rail cars, than ground tanks.
Actually been going on for years.

What those "1870" pins are about: the first police killing of a free black man in the US: Henry Truman, killed March 31, 1870, by a police officer later convicted of manslaughter.
It's looking like the Trump/DeSantis wing of the GOP (what we used to call the lunatic fringe) is targeting transpeople to be their Public Enemy #1 for fundraising and voter motivation. Because targeting abortion rights and same-sex couples doesn't get the traction it used to.
I.e., they're targeting my family. Bad move, guys.
