I may always jump to the worst-case scenario, but as someone who's spent a career observing unscrupulous people leverage every possible flaw or exploit, I can't see how there's any way back from the SCOTUS decision handing the executive unchecked power. I wish the guy still in there saw it that way, but no, we'll stand on principle all the way to the autocracy.

The good news is that both the NYT and CNN seem to be reporting the rascism.
Absoutely disgusting story in today’s NYT about Trump’s rally last night: “ A comic kicked off the rally by dismissing Puerto Rico as a “floating island of garbage,” then mocked Hispanics as failing to use birth control, Jews as cheap and Palestinians as rock-throwers, and called out a Black man in the audience with a reference to watermelon.”
