Damn it smells good around here. As of last count we have 4 barbecues, 2 smokers, and perhaps as many as 6 ovens. Cooking food for tomorrows big "Fireworks Free" party. I know of 4 pies, and 2 potato salads, and a number of vegetable dishes, in the works.

I am smoking a large bone in pork shoulder.
Neighbor, smoking large brisket.
Why do all this the day before?
Because we all want to enjoy the odd humans, that the dogs bring with them.

The smoker I have

I own and love my MAK smoker. It is absolutely better than a traeger, both in build quality, controls, and versatility. Yep it costs more. But it will last 15 to 20 years.
Maybe I am a bit biased, because they are made two towns over, here in Oregon.
And hire almost exclusively veterans.

But overall the best investment I have made in a while.

@corlin looks amazing but I am never affording one of those. 🤣

My best shot at a larger smoker is to get a 55 gallon drum and throw some $$$ to a local welder to make something happen.

@Hobyrim
Understood.
It is a shit ton of money.
I was lucky I bought directly from the manufacturing plant. Got a 20% discount.

But still a ton of money.
