@badgerwerks @JoyfullyDazed
You are dazed indeed, perhaps sadly not joyfully and that's why you have no other recourse than to say "shut up" to more intelligent and more socially aware people like me. O well, the world needs intolerant idiots so the rest of us can shine! Thank you!
@keyrocco Brilliant, though I can't vouch for Hillary and her crooked husband, they are still a better choice, and that's saying a lot!π
@lifeunjaded They don't care one iota no matter how often they close their ears to reality!
@Animeraider So called Reverend Sharpton? One the richest so-called religious leaders??
His only god is the mighty dollar!
@JoyfullyDazed Agreed, but here we are trying to save an innocent life!!
#politics I almost miss the 'good ol'boys club' of the 50s and 60s; even Nixon would preferable to the orange menace!!π
@JoyfullyDazed exactly, I don't approve of abortions either unless the mother is in danger or the girl was raped! Adoption will always be preferable!
@JoyfullyDazed Good idea, indeed, they are afraid of drag queens who caused no fatalities, but hide in the closet when asked to control guns!!π
@WeThePeople Let us remember who the Real Newt is, that is the guy who divorced his wife while she was in the hospital treated for cancer. !! Arghhhh!πΉ
@Pluckypirate NO, please, he was SO kind as to distribute his pillow wealth among PR people and other needy citizens!π
@ATLFilmCritics Yes, it seems to reflect a general low level of intelligence as these movies are popular! Must be Republican viewers!
Where is 'Breakfast at Tiffany' when you need it!!π
@Impious_Jade I envy your weather, mine (S. Texas) has been dry and very hot everyday!!π
@BosmangBeratna
well said as it reflects my views also!
#finances I have had a financial adviser for several years to help me invest my modest life savings. I can extract the following conclusions:
1) Make sure you pick somebody who has a stellar reputation (there are special tools online to check on anybody)
2) Just remember that he (she) will always look for their own interest first and foremost.
3) Never ever invest 100% of your available (not needed to live) savings with them, as your investment is always at risk.
Food for thought!
@Flyingdutchman696 Agreed! Inflation is down to 4% so this figure amounts to price gauging! Of course I declined their "kind" offer as I have had 2 cards for a long time that charge 13%-14% at most!
#credit Capital One offered me a new credit card! I have made it a habit to read carefully the small print and I discovered that after the first year, they would charge me almost 30% interest (27.79) annually with no annual fee!
So in dollar amount, I would pay almost $300 for every thousand dollars owed! That's a lot of money that quickly accumulates if you can only pay the minimum!
For most families of four this means sacrificing other needs just to pay the credit card!
Food for thought!
@Lucky188 Wishful thinking indeed as we deal with power and few men can resist the allure of controlling others. A two-party system runs the danger of becoming a one party system!
As it is the President has too much power!
@Lucky188 Right you are, but let's remember that in a 2-party country each, both Dem and Rep, contain several divergent factions which could be other political parties in a multi-party system like Italy or France!
We sorely lack a centrist party that would include all the moderate politicians!
I am still trying to digest the increasing (??) popularity of D. T. after the publication of his mugshot! I fear more violence from his adoring fans!
#politics Who won the first Republican debate??
Who the hell cares!!π
