@Lucky188 Right you are, but let's remember that in a 2-party country each, both Dem and Rep, contain several divergent factions which could be other political parties in a multi-party system like Italy or France!
We sorely lack a centrist party that would include all the moderate politicians!
I am still trying to digest the increasing (??) popularity of D. T. after the publication of his mugshot! I fear more violence from his adoring fans!

@Helveticus We need a two party system if for no other reason than a check on the other, but I also think both parties should have some foundation in both sanity and reality.
@Lucky188 Wishful thinking indeed as we deal with power and few men can resist the allure of controlling others. A two-party system runs the danger of becoming a one party system!
As it is the President has too much power!
@Helveticus I would've given them each a chance, but they all lost that the moment they raised their hands in allegiance to a criminal who messed up this country so much we're still trying to fix it. Worst president ever.
