@Amyfb Sounds pretty good. Let me try to do this during the next meetings. This last one was a tech synchronization meeting with operation, so I pushed through. Next ones, I will let them drive. Thanks for the tip.
@Anouk haha at least it made me laugh 😅
One of these days where I must have meetings but somehow I dont really want to meet anyone. Any motivational tip ? #MondayMotivation
@Krysdammit Indeed. When I discovered the name of this, I was also quite happy ! It's hard but it seems that we have both made it so far, so thats also great news !
UK - London - Brixton shooting: Two men dead after police called to reports of gunshots https://www.standard.co.uk/news/crime/brixton-shooting-police-two-men-killed-railton-road-b1036308.html
@Mandypar Ah I guess thats why police cars were patrolling high street of Brixton at around 5AM today.
@Krysdammit Oh Yes. And sometimes they are oblivious to how important this is to us. Here, I have my invisible ear plugs which remove quite a few trigger sounds and gives me this feeling of control, as for repetitive motions etc, I tend to try to break the circle by disrupting (in a good/hidden way) whoever is doing it. If really a bad day, I walk away with a believable excuse. If I find other tips in the future, I will share. If you have any - feel free to share also !
@Krysdammit Ah yeah same thing with repetitive motions as well as usual behaviors/habits. Usually sounds and repetitive motions are the ones getting to me the most. I was even part of a study where they scanned my brain and making me listen to trigger sounds : https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5321671/ to help me understand what was going on. Results were interesting (just go to Conclusions hehe)
@Krysdammit Ah so I guess you know how hard it is to explain (people dont really see it as a problem most of the time.). Had this from when I was 6 and people were thinking that I was just you know.. haha. It's under control even if sometimes long situations under this intense stress get me very tired ! Nice to meet a fellow sufferer.
Oh last week I succeeded to explain #misophonia to someone - That was great ! If you dont know it, search for it as it can be quite a tiring issue to control for whoever suffers from it. (i.e me !)
Nice. got the pro account on #coso now. I can nicely put it on linkedin as an alternative to track me down, because.. well It's actually a fun social place (compared to many other places.)
Good morning guys ! Dark, cold and damp here in #London - just the perfect time for a run !

@JeSsA Happened to me one morning just after waking up and doing nothing. Couldn't even breathe without very bad pain. I looked at what I had done prior and narrowed it down to abs (youtube for Maria khoreva abs) done the day before. Took about 3 days to get back to normal. Ibuprofen helped a bit.
