Anyone else with deal with the out-of-the-blue new noise?

A few days ago I had a new one. Sounds like striking an anvil three times, pause repeat. Only the anvil is a mile away. weird.

@Graci

Are you listening to loud music or in an incredibly loud environment?

I’ve gotten non-stop alternating ringing tones that can be super annoying as well as phantom noises, once in a while (I’ve listened to a LOT of live music very close to amps and drums).

I find if I stop using earbuds etc for a couple of weeks they lessen considerably.

Also, have your blood pressure and cholesterol levels checked. That could be another culprit.

@TheAbbotTrithemius Both BP and Chol are good. Increased headphone use tho. Didn't even think of that!

@Graci

Ooof.
I haven't had that, but I do periodically get another pitch of the electric whine that my tinnitus sounds like.

I agree with @TheAbbotTrithemius that getting your blood pressure checked is a good idea.

@tyghebright @TheAbbotTrithemius Right after chemo I made an mp3 to try to replicate the tinnitus. Those frequencies are hard to determine
