Crap… it’s Monday. Oh well, at least there’s coffee.
Sudden panic: OMG I’ve overslept!
Half-awake realization: Oh, it’s Saturday,
Fully-awake annoyance: It’s 5:30:in the damn morning.
Technically, I never really lost my mind. It just got scared and ran away. Just wanted to clear that up for everyone.
My house looks like I'm losing a game of Jumanji.
Slowly I’m coming to accept today is Friday. This is a good thing. 😎

My wife wanted to get married on Leap Day just so we’d only have an anniversary every four years. Luckily, wiser heads prevailed … and we got married on her birthday. 😆
@BlueWatermelon775 My stapler is a solid metal Swingline that I’ve had since the late ‘80s. It not only staples well, it also doubles as a pretty effective hammer.

Apparently the fact that I still use paper clips and have a tape dispsenser on my desk makes me old-fashioned. Wait till they find out about the jar of white-out I have hidden under my desk.
It's my theory that Girl Scout cookie season is scientifically timed to occur just as people are giving up on their New Year's resolutions.
Woke up at 3:30 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. Finally got up, drew a very hot bath, and just soaked for an hour or so. So I'm starting the day off both early and very well hydrated (at least bodily).
Now, off in search of coffee...
