I'm in a distinctly 19th century vibe this morning, feeling like I need a top hat and violin to go sip coffee outside as the sun rises.
And this has nothing to do with the gummy I had last night before bed.
Nope, nothing at all.
Ever have one of those surreal dreams that was so weird you were actually glad to wake up?
Like aliens having coffee in the Oval Office while hosting a pool party.
Yeah... this is going to be an interesting week. I can just feel it.
There's something just wrong with waking up one minute before the alarm goes off. I feel like I was cheated out of that extra minute of sleep.
Yeah, yeah... I'm awake. I'm just not that happy about it.
Oh well, at least there's coffee...
Feeling a bit out of sorts this morning. Kind of like Bigfoot sipping an espresso in a French café kind of morning.
I'm up, but the jury is still out on whether I am awake or not.
Maybe I need some coffee and toast with jam...

Instead of getting up at my usual 4:30am, I slept in this morning ... all the way to 5am! Woo hoo! I feel so refreshed!
Okay, maybe I need to go with a slightly less caffeinated coffee...

So I wake up at my normal time, walk downstairs to make some coffee, come back up to my studio, log in to everything ... and then realize I have nothing to do this morning. No morning show, no traffic reporting, nothing on my schedule.

Does this look like the face of a traffic reporter? Because that’s what I’m doing the morning. So much for getting to sleep in like a normal person. 😆
