Vacuuming the house when my phone rings.
Boss: "Can you work traffic the afternoon?"
Me: "Sure. What's wrong with Dan?"
Boss: "He lost his voice."
Me: "Does he need any help finding it?"
Boss:
Me:
Boss: "You are so weird."
Hey, they hired me. They should be used to me now.
Also, this means I get out of housework for the day.
And yes, I'm drinking Fresca. Deal with it. 😜
And then one of my cats walks into the studio and meows very loudly in the middle of a traffic report. Apparently, she could see the bottom of her food bowl, and this was simply not acceptable.

Fresca and no housework!
Fresca instantly transports me across time & place to my favorite poolside, best friend, trying to get a tan that would never occur with the exception of freckles, and KNOW, the top 40 AM radio station blasting out hits. Good times. Still a very traumatic childhood, but gratefully interspersed with such good times. And ice cold Fresca!
I also had 15 minutes notice before the first traffic report was due. Luckily I have a home studio.
