That's why, far from expecting any military source to be honest - that often goes *expressly* against its main mission, to win - we have to be so freaking responsible with our media coverage and signal-boosting. *We* are tools in the war machine, too - but unwittingly, at times, because we don't realize just how much power these media channels have to shape the overall course of combat.

Thanks for doing your part, Gambit! Care and attention to detail matter greatly at these times.

It's a difficult topic, because many people don't understand that truth is the first casualty of war *and often has to be*. Ukraine and Russia, for instance, both lie to keep morale up / evade detection, & they're not above exaggerating enemy atrocities if that will help rally global support.

It's risky, because if a lie about atrocity is found out it can reduce support long-term. But often that doesn't matter. If the lie gets you through a brutal action, it's done its military job.

I just read that not everyone has an inner monologue. People who don't have one generally spend their time "processing sensory information". This disturbs me almost to the point of hyperventilating. WTF.

He still doesn't understand how tariffs work. I think it was Woodward's first Trump book (Fear) that mentioned how his advisors kept trying to explain tariffs, but he's incapable of learning. Hence him having to bail out farmers from the mess he made.

I just started using Paramount+. It does not remember what episodes I've watched, and if I exit an episode before finishing and go back to it later it starts from the beginning rather than where I left off. This behavior is the same on two different TVs with two different roku's. WTF?

Hubs would be furloughed. We're as ready as we can be, but it's one of the things my brain gloms on to when I wake up at night, like now. And we're in much better shape than many other families would be.

I still hold out some hope for an attack of last minute sanity, but not much.

Excited.. I got notice that I've been added to the notification list for the future phases of the City's traffic box art program. Yay for Public art! If I am selected to create one, I intend to bring some Native meaning to it.
