@CoSoTips I tried sharing the link to that article on FB right after it came out, and my post was removed. I also can’t include a link to my CoSo profile in my FB profile or in a post there because it apparently goes against community standards. It’s so stupid on FB.

@gshevlin @catlynne333 @th3j35t3r Yeah, I noticed that a while back when I attempted to share info about it. I think my post sharing the article about @th3j35t3r was removed a while back. So stupid. My FB feed keeps switching to mostly ads until I mess with the settings every so often. I mostly go on there to keep up with a few friends and family, a couple pages/groups I follow, etc. It’s just gotten progressively worse over the years, but at least it hasn’t gotten as bad as Twitter.

@gshevlin @catlynne333 I just deactivated my account last night after following @th3j35t3r’s instructions (& downloading my data beforehand). I didn’t do a goodbye tweet or anything. I went ahead and joined Bluesky since a lot of accounts I follow moved over there. It’s decent so far. I made sure to note that I’m on counter.social in my bio. I also posted on FB about it to my like-minded friends, though I had to get creative because FB was trying to block my link to CoSo. #Recruiting #FBSucks

@JakeA Our 2 cats who do this aren’t from the same litter or anything - we adopted them almost a year apart. Our other cats don’t have any interest in the freshly cleaned areas like they do. So strange!

@JakeA Both of our calicoes do this exact same thing, not just with areas where we’ve used bleach (used sparingly in our house - reserved for bathrooms), but also where we use a couple other cleaners (Zero Odor Pet & Rocco & Roxie). Both are supposed to be pet friendly. They really love Zero Odor. I can use that while they’re sound asleep & one or both will come running and roll around like it’s a field of catnip. Happy to see we’re not the only ones with cats with this particular weird habit! 😺

@QueenOfEverything Yeah, I regularly back up the latest in my camera roll to a couple external hard drives with the thought that at some point, I’ll delete some of what’s on my phone. Somehow that effort always gets interrupted only a couple minutes later. 😹

@JolieSaboteuse The number of stupid people is way higher than that 51% of voters. There’s also the whole other giant group of idiots who didn’t vote at all, some of whom had no idea there even was an election happening. We have a serious problem when about 1/3 of eligible adults simply can’t be bothered to vote.

@QueenOfEverything Thanks!! I have so many wonderful pictures of our cats, past and present. My camera roll is overflowing with cute pics. That’s why I’ll be upgrading my iPhone to one with bigger storage very soon (also because I’m on an iPhone 11 that I’ve had since 2020, so it’s time). 😺

@catlynne333 Yep! We’ve had Bryan since Oct. 2006, and the rest joined us in 2019, 2021 and 2022, after we lost the rest of the kitties due to the various illnesses in old age. We had 8 cats until we lost Vincent (he was 6 months older than Bryan) in February due to cancer, so now we have 7.
