Dude, are all loan processors jackasses? Or are we just lucky?
They request that paperwork be submitted ASAP but won't respond to confirm receipt or pick up the phone when you call them. Then they'll ignore explicit directions on who to call.

@Sandywb14 We're trying to be diplomatic, but it's reaching a head. We've asked someone else with the builder to reach out and figure out what is going on.
Said they would call me "soon" around 12:45. It's 3:45, I've called them twice with no response, and no response to my email from yesterday.
I'm about to pump the brakes on the whole thing.

It's a low paying, high stress, box-ticking job where a percentage of the pay is contingent on closure. Lots of it is juggling loans in the air until they are ready to move forward and avoiding "specials".
