@Helical_Code I've been quietly eyeing the dreamingrobots electric eel wheels...small footprint, smaller price, minimal commitment. No foot involvement so hopefully less coordination needed allowing more focus on the hands and drafting. Also, small enough that I might be able to sneak it into the house without the SO freaking out.
@Helical_Code I'm so tempted by a wheel but I feel like I should learn to walk (spindle) before I start trying to run (wheel). Maybe I'm overthinking it.

@MidnightRider I work directly with contractors; being unfiltered is a quality that works well in some circles. The hard part is when I have to work with other engineers who have very sensitive egos and think they know more than they do.
This week is going to be a test of my patience and my ability to keep my mouth shut. Spoiler alert: I am not patient and my co-workers have nicknamed me "unfiltered" because I don't keep my mouth shut. If I'm lucky no one will call me and they won't ask me to attend any meetings. @Helical_Code It's a 3.5 inch staple, but it feels inconsistently grabby...like some times it takes a lot of effort to draft and sometimes you give that effort and it just slips and lets go and you pull it apart because you've pulled too hard. I'm sure the issue is me, but it'll be awhile before I tackle shetland again. I picked up several new wools to try the last time I allowed myself to log in to etsy....LOL.

@Helical_Code lol I am still finishing off a very garish orange and blue combination that is sure to make my mother roll her eyes. I'm not enjoying the shetland as much as I do the corriedale as I tend to break the yarn a lot more.
