@Helical_Code oh! I haven't seen it but I'm amending my guess to Frozen
@Helical_Code White, blues, greys, and a streak of hot pink....sunset over snowy mountains?
I really shouldn't respond to report review comments on a Friday afternoon after a long, frustrating, week. I don't take criticism of my technical work well on the best of days. It's a shortcoming that I'm aware of and I'm working on it...but today is not the day for it. #biteme
@GrandmaJ Babies are drawn to me. I think they can smell the fear.
@GrandmaJ I was fairly convinced that my very very very pregnant neighbor who was going for walks either immediately before or at the start of labor was going to drop a baby right there on the asphalt.
@GrandmaJ LOL my desk faces the window looking out onto the front yard and street. I have seen some things...things I can't unsee.
I had to go to the office yesterday, which meant putting on pants. While it was fun to see the difference in the fit because of my weight loss....they're still pants. I hereby declare today to be No Pants Wednesday. Now, let's drink our coffee and get the day's adventure started. #morecoffee
@cassandra17lina I love how that turned out! I was already convinced that faux stone was a great idea, and you're definitely confirming it. Funny geology story...I am slightly colorblind but I didn't know it until after I had taken my geology courses. I spent three hours on a final exam staring at three different pieces of granite because I couldn't see the difference between the colors. My professor was so confused by my struggle to answer the question and later very amused.
@cassandra17lina lol this geotechnical engineer is in love with that look. It's so cozy and earthy! I have looked into the faux stone for when it's time to replace the siding on this house. I'd even be willing to do a split look with stone on bottom and siding or something else on top, but I need some stone somewhere.
@ACG2 good morning!
@cassandra17lina ohhhh not to get distracted but I love the look of that stone/brick
@GrandmaJ Step 1...find a law firm who knows what they're doing. I feel like the biggest parts of being an adult are 1) doing the icky stuff that you know needs to be done but you just don't want to deal with and 2) admitting when you need to hire someone to do that something for you.
@cassandra17lina Share the rain!!! we're still feeling pretty dry over here towards Charlotte. I swear the line of storms comes through from the west, they break, go around us, and re-form to the east of us.
@GrandmaJ thank you!! They're in a wishing well planter outside the bedroom window. It's nice to see them every morning.
@GrandmaJ @Helical_Code I love how colorful they are! I had one inspecting my table saw Saturday while I was doing some woodworking.
Zinnias! @GrandmaJ I finally managed to get pictures before the flowers are gone. This heat has not been kind.
@Helical_Code He is indeed! We have several skinks and anoles that live in the rocks that line the waterfall for our pond. I'm not sure how junior managed to end up in the front yard, but he was gently relocated to a safer hiding spot. I can't wait to watch him grow up!
I need more coffee
