This is beyond appalling. There is so much about the composition of the Court that demands investigation. Thomas has been at the center of controversy since his ascension to the court. This is the latest and worst. The damage that he has caused in the service of GOP mega donors is incalculable and needs to stop. Time for the DOJ to take a look at Thomas and the laws he has broken by his failure to disclose these gifts

I am not speaking from a place of great knowledge about Calvin, but he does sound very controlling. And controlled.

That is no way to live one's life! People have free will, you know, and they have both good and bad instincts! At least that's my philosophy.

Besides, how do you know who the good people are?

I was just reading up on Calvinism a little. Much of this is news to me, some I've heard of before, a little bit.

Odd, though, that Calvin really thought there was no free will! And that some people were simply born #blessed .

I think today people still have these beliefs. I think it's why, where I live, many people think poor people are bad people because they are decidedly NOT #blessed.

When people in Idaho talk about banning the travel of pregnant women, they mean to ban the travel of everyone with a uterus between ages 10 and 60.
A uterus can start shedding early and people as old as 57 have had regular periods.
